The Responsible Safari Company has been designed for the environmentally and culturally aware traveller of the 21st Century. Gecko Lounge supports the local community through housing the Chembe Water Project and assisting with financial aide to active projects through the Project Centre. They employ over 30 local staff of different education and skill levels.

Gecko Lounge is well known as a tourist hotspot for people vising Cape Maclear, receiving over 5000 people a year. They offer comfortable, beach front chalets, double en-suite rooms and a funky bar and restaurant.

Tuckaways houses the Chembe Project Centre and promotes volun-tourism through offering hands on involvement for tourists that come to Cape Maclear.

Tuckaways offers 5 reed beachfront chalets on stilts, overlooking the blue waters of Lake Malawi National Park. All chalets offer private verandahs - a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view!

Kayak Africa is an adventure-safari operator specialising in sea kayak and small boat safaris on Lake Malawi, and hike-bike-kayak safaris around Southern Malawi.
